# Doomherre

> Classic doom metal from Stockholm, Sweden. Three underground veterans reunited after nearly two decades to make slow, heavy music entirely on their own terms.

Doomherre is a Swedish doom metal trio from Stockholm, formed by Victor Takala (guitar/vocals), Daniel Strachal (drums), and Max Collin (bass). The band draws from the tradition of Candlemass, Trouble, and The Obsessed, releasing music on their own imprint Skatbo Records and Majestic Mountain Records. Daniel Strachal ran The Ruptured Zine in the early '90s, interviewing Darkthrone, Immolation, Repulsion, At the Gates, Dismember and many more. Max Collin and Daniel played together through Lobotomy and Blindfold across the '90s. Victor Takala brings his own Stockholm pedigree, including session work with Katatonia.
